1,200 visitors celebrate 125 years of Klio

We celebrated our 125th anniversary in grand style – including a well‑attended Open House event that welcomed around 1,200 visitors. Many guests were fascinated by our still rare German ballpoint pen production.

Behind the Scenes: From Granulate to Finished Ballpoint Pen

During guided tours, visitors gained exciting insights into our manufacturing processes. Our employees explained each production step and answered all questions. Several stations allowed guests to examine granulate, screens and tools up close – and even touch them.

Food, Fun and Family‑Friendly Entertainment

A wide range of food and drinks ensured everyone was well taken care of: coffee, cake, ice cream and burgers were available. For our youngest visitors, a magician provided entertainment and balloon animals, creating plenty of happy faces.
