1,200 visitors celebrate 125 years of Klio

The company’s 125th anniversary was celebrated in style, including with an Open Day. Around 1,200 guests attended and marvelled at the now rare German production of ballpoint pens. 

During interesting tours of our company, visitors gained fascinating insights into the production process. Our staff explained the individual processes and answered all the questions from our curious guests. We had also set up various stations where guests could, for example, view our granules, the sieves or the tools used in our machines up close and even touch them.

Refreshments were, of course, also well catered for: from coffee and cake to ice cream and burgers, there was something to suit every taste. We hadn’t forgotten our youngest visitors either – a magician put on a show and made balloon animals, bringing a sparkle to the children’s eyes.
