Donation to SG Gutach-Wolfach

Klio-Eterna supports young handball players from Gutach and Wolfach

There was great excitement amongst the SG Gutach-Wolfach E-Youth team: following their convincing 26:14 home win against the SG Scutro youth team from Lahr, the team were treated to a special surprise. Today, the young handball players were presented with a donation in the form of high-quality water bottles featuring a bespoke SG design.
The new water bottles not only provide much-needed refreshment during training and matches, but also strengthen the sense of community within the team. The young handball players from Gutach and Wolfach accepted the gifts with great enthusiasm.

Parents’ initiative recognises the achievements of the youth handball team

The idea for the fundraising campaign came from Irene Gruhle, who is herself the mother of one of the players and a big fan of the team. Together with other parents, she looked for a way to visibly recognise the achievements of the E-youth team.
“Unfortunately, the results and achievements of the youth team are rarely mentioned in public. That’s why we parents thought about how we could show the children that they are doing a brilliant job and can be proud of their progress,” explains Irene Gruhle. “That’s how the idea for the water bottles came about.”
When she presented the project to Klio-Eterna’s managing director, Edeltraud Syllwasschy, the decision was made quickly. The company spontaneously agreed to fund the water bottles for the young handball players.

Klio-Eterna’s social commitment in the region

Klio-Eterna’s commitment to clubs, children and social institutions is already a long-standing tradition. Managing Director Edeltraud Syllwasschy attaches particular importance to social responsibility and the support of young people.
Support for SG Gutach-Wolfach is therefore not the company’s first charitable initiative this year. Just recently, the SOS Children’s Village in Pinkafeld, Austria, received a generous donation of 500 ballpoint pens.

Supporting young handball players is an investment in the future

Clubs such as SG Gutach-Wolfach make an important contribution to community life in the Kinzigtal valley. Alongside sporting success, the focus is particularly on team spirit, fair play and the children’s personal development.
The new water bottles are therefore far more than just a practical training accessory. They are a token of appreciation for the young players’ commitment and demonstrate how important the support of businesses, parents and sponsors is for regional youth sport.
The SG Gutach-Wolfach Under-10s would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Klio-Eterna for their generous donation and look forward to continuing to chase goals with plenty of motivation and team spirit.
