Donation for children with cancer

With a special donation, our managing director, Edeltraud Syllwasschy, hopes to bring a little joy to children with cancer and their families. Small cuddly lions will be donated to a children’s hospital for cancer, where they are intended to offer comfort, courage and a sense of security to the young patients and their siblings.

It is precisely in challenging times that small gestures can have a big impact. A soft toy often becomes a loyal companion, providing support and bringing a sense of normality to everyday life in hospital.

The donation is complemented by 30 ballpoint pens, many of which feature our popular slogan ‘Be real, not perfect’. We hope they will be useful in everyday life and perhaps serve as a reminder to always be yourself, even in difficult situations.

We want to show the children and their families that they are not alone. It is often the small gestures that give hope and make everyday life a little brighter. We wish these little heroes and heroines lots of strength, confidence and many wonderful moments with their new cuddly lions.

As a company, it is important to us to take responsibility and support charitable organisations. With this donation, we hope to make a small contribution and bring a smile to the families affected during a difficult time in their lives.

Support for families

The Elternhaus Freiburg offers families of children with cancer the opportunity to stay in close proximity to their children whilst they are undergoing treatment. This avoids long journeys and allows them to spend valuable time together.

The Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder e.V. Freiburg i.Br. has been carrying out valuable work for affected families for many years, providing them with both practical and emotional support. This commitment deserves the highest recognition and support.
