New Labelling on Our Recycled Plastic Ballpoint Pens
27.09.2026
Due to current legal requirements and evolving guidelines for the communication of environmental and recycling claims, we are gradually updating the label on our ballpoint pens made from recycled plastic. The aim is to provide the clearest and most transparent information possible about the materials used.
What is changing?
Until now, the relevant models have been marked with the wording “recyclingpen” and the familiar recycling symbol. In future, this marking will be replaced by the statement “Made with recycled plastic”.
With this new wording, we want to communicate even more clearly that recycled plastic is used in the manufacture of the product.
What does this mean for our customers?
The changeover is being implemented gradually. As a result, deliveries may temporarily include products bearing either the previous “recyclingpen” label or the new “Made with recycled plastic” label.
Will the product itself change?
No. The update relates solely to the printed label.
The material, quality, functionality and proportion of recycled plastic remain unchanged. Our customers will continue to receive the same high-quality writing instruments manufactured according to Klio-Eterna's established quality standards.
Transparency and Sustainability
The new label provides clear and internationally understandable communication regarding the use of recycled materials. This allows us to present the sustainable characteristics of our products in an even more transparent and straightforward way.
Please note: During the transition period, both marking versions may be in circulation. This does not affect the product itself or its material properties in any way.
