Shrek the Musical – a gift for all the stagehands

Supporting local initiatives is truly important to us. That’s why we are especially proud to sponsor this year’s sensational production of “Shrek” at the Robert‑Gerwig‑Gymnasium (RGG) in Hausach, located in the Kinzigtal region of the Black Forest. This project is far more than a typical school performance – it is a remarkable collaboration between students, alumni, teachers, parents and friends of the school.

A cultural highlight for Hausach and the Black Forest

Every two years, the RGG stages a large‑scale musical that excites audiences from across the region. With creativity, dedication and teamwork, the school creates a cultural event that draws visitors from throughout the Black Forest.

To support this impressive effort, we donated 250 ballpoint pens for the many volunteers – including the props team, the organisation crew, the technical staff and everyone working behind the scenes to make the musical possible.

A special connection 

Many of our employees have a personal connection to the RGG musical: Some have attended the performances for years simply because they love them. Others because their children attend or attended the school. And some even volunteer in the musical team themselves, sewing costumes or building props. This close relationship makes our support especially meaningful.

We are already looking forward to contributing again to the next musical – and we’re excited to see which production will be chosen fpr 2026. We wish everyone involved continued success, joy and enthusiastic audiences!
