Shrek the Musical – a gift for all the stagehands

Community involvement is something we are truly passionate about. That is why we are particularly delighted to be supporting the sensational musical “Shrek” by Robert-Gerwig-Gymnasium in Hausach this year. What they are putting on there is far more than just a school production – it is an impressive collaborative project involving pupils, former pupils, the teaching staff, parents and friends of the RGG.

Every two years, the RGG stages a major musical that captivates the whole region. With tremendous dedication, creativity and passion, the result is always a cultural highlight that delights the audience. To recognise this commitment and support the many helping hands, we have donated 250 pens to the volunteers – including the props team, the organisers, the technical crew and all those who work behind the scenes to ensure that the musical is even possible.

Many of our employees have a special connection to the RGG musical: some have been attending the performances for years out of sheer enthusiasm, others because their children attend or have attended the school. Some are even actively involved in the musical team themselves, for example sewing costumes or building props. This close connection makes the support particularly valuable to us. We’d love to contribute to the next musical as well and are looking forward to which show it will be!

Projects like this show just how vibrant, creative and community-minded our region is. We wish everyone involved continued success, enjoyment and an enthusiastic audience!
