Internship abroad with Erasmus+

A glimpse into the 6-week stay abroad in Ireland by our commercial trainee, Sabrina. It’s always fascinating to see how a stay like this, outside one’s comfort zone, fosters personal and professional growth. Well done for taking this brave step! 

"Hello, my name is Sabrina. I'm in my third year of training as an industrial clerk at Klio Eterna and this year had the opportunity to do an internship abroad in Dublin, Ireland, through the Erasmus+ programme. At the International House Dublin language school, I was able to work in administration and support a great team. This allowed me not only to improve my English but also to learn a lot about Irish culture – a fantastic experience!
I was lucky enough to stay with a lovely host family and, although they lived an hour away by bus, this wasn’t a problem thanks to the good transport links. We got on really well and learnt a lot from each other. The six weeks helped me grow both personally and professionally by enabling me to deal with unexpected situations, step out of my comfort zone and become more confident in using English.
I would particularly like to thank our Managing Director, Edeltraud Syllwasschy, for making this valuable experience possible for me. It was an unforgettable time that I highly recommend to everyone!"
